Parked in Dryau Aowsy RI-T d3-7175 at the 18.5K line for the day. I'm 4,500ly from the Great Annihilator and 7,409ly from Sag A! I'm hoping that Dennis Wronka and I will make it to the Great Annihilator by the weekend (Maybe Sunday). BTW: Found myself an ammonia world today. It's only my 3rd this whole trip so far so I'm thinking their rare.
WRT ammonia worlds - not sure if they're rare but they do look rather uninspiring on the system map so I expect quite a lot get missed.
ReplyDeleteollie clark they certainly don't look interesting on the system map. I only found this one because I scanned most of the system which I don't usually do. I got in close for a snapshot this time so I could show what they look like. Not very pretty but oddly interesting looking up close.
ReplyDeleteI'm falling behind because I've been sick for a couple of days (annoying head-cold with a blocked ear that makes me feel off-balance, so I don't trust myself to fly). Last I checked I think I was 5.5kly from Annihilator.
ReplyDeleteJames Dominguez I think you were a bit ahead of us so I think it will work out OK. Sorry to hear about the head-cold. I hate those bloody things! I'll keep you posted on our progress and maybe we'll all meet up together this time.
ReplyDeleteThe infection has settled in my left ear. The doctor had a look with his little light-up magnifier thing, and he said it's the most inflamed-looking inner ear he's ever seen. So hey, at least I'm still knocking it out of the park.
ReplyDeleteJames Dominguez Sorry to hear that. Man those ear infections can knock you off your feet. Hope your better soon.
ReplyDeleteMy doctor put me on antibiotics today, and I'm already feeling better. I'll be getting back into the trek tomorrow. :)
