Elite Explorers (Null)

Did a little more exploring with my Daughter last night so we could get a tiny bit closer to Sag A. We found this interesting HMC that was so rocky that it was difficult to land and even dock our SRVs. We had to keep dismissing our ship and calling it back to try and dock. We did find some very rare elements though!

Made it to the Jellyfish Nebula and now on my way to the Monkeyhead Nebula to meet up with the rest of the CNE fleet. Only 1.2K to go!

Because Rank 3 needs a cargo that can only be obtained through missions, I'm hoping to quickly grab enough Exploration data in the next 2 days to make rank 4. If I can do that, and get the materials needed, which I have half of them already. I could be looking at 36-38 LY, then I'll be happy, enough to head out. +Ian Norton Do you just want to head out to the rift?, or are you wanting to start in the old worlds? If you're up for the old worlds, you could make that start while I gather my last bits. Anyone else?

Getting ready to roll! I'm at Eta Draconis A7 looking for jumponium (found a little already) I am aiming to have a few 50% and 100% boosts before I go!

Last night I finally hit the jackpot, a previously undiscovered HIP system. Of course I proceeded to spend the best part of the following hour rubbing myself all over the system, hoping nobody will come across my little gem before I make my way home, which is unlikely to happen before the end of July.

Getting my CMDR Mark Ausley account ready for the CNE. Finding lots of materials just not the ones I need for mods! Even found polonium today!

The various hints and rumours about the Formadine Rift have been playing on my mind. I'm strongly tempted to take my anaconda out for a research mission. I still have a 2nd account so it would make more sense to take that one instead of my main one but that account has virtually no money so maybe someone could drop me a few creds of cargo. So.. this is me suggesting we run a parallel exploration trip with some lightly armed surface capable ships. Who is in?
