Elite Explorers (Null)

Here's that NS/WD field. It's a LOOOONG way from the bubble, but there are literally MILLIONS of them. I could be here for months scanning them all, but I just don't have that kind of patience, so I'm happy to share with a select few. Over 1kLY thick, over 5kLY wide, and no idea how broad. Billions of cubic light years, probably millions of NSs and WDs. Come explore if you like, but please don't share it around. I'll make it public on the main E:D G+ group after I'm done with it and any of my friends who want to visit have had a go.

All of you who are friends with me, log on, find my marker, and look a little south. MASSIVE field of neutron stars, white dwarfs, and a handful of other things. Happy to share because there's no way I'm going to scan them all on my own.

Completely failed to notice I'd passed an important milestone. Less than 20 kLY to home! I'm making a surprisingly good pace, considering I'm still scanning most planets and taking lots of photos.

I finally made a little progress toward Eravate. I'm sitting at the 21K line currently which puts me just shy of 21K to home. I'll get there eventually.

So i'm still over 22K from Sol. I'm not making much progress because of other things cutting into my exploration time but I did manage to find some nice water worlds all in the same system earlier yesterday. I also found my 2nd giant Water World. Looks more like a Gas Giant but that's not how it scanned.

Last night I found these 3 HMCs very close together. I've seen two orbiting each other but never three! None were TC but still worth getting close for the picture!

G/F walks in, and inquires on how my return journey too sol is going. “12 Klys, to go, making good time, should be there by  the end of the week”, I reply. “That’s great darling, how’s the ship holding up” – she asks in the supportive caring, and interested tone. “oh, yer, Hull’s down to 88 percent, most of my AMU have been used, and I have spider cracks all over my canopy” “W.T.F, have you done to my ship” she screams... “Your ship ?” – I snap back.. “I designed it, for you, - on shipyard” “And I payed for it !!!” I yelled. “If you don’t get   to Sol, and blow up on the way back, this entire month, that I had to put up with you playing that game will before nothing.... I have put everything on hold for you, while you play... If your ships breaks, so do you. – Be more careful” – and promptly walks out. “Yes, dear”, and I return too “Engage, Scan, refuel, Engage, scan refuel...”

I'm still around 25,000ly from SOL but heading towards inhabited space again. Yesterday I found my 3rd ELW! Also found a system with nothing but stars and a hell planet that was being baked by it's star.

Still in the core but decided to head back to the bubble to help my daughter configure her ship for the journey here. She is gung ho to get to Sag A before the 800th visitor. I'll accompany her back for guidance and protection. Perhaps she will be the first 8 year old to do it.

Decided to head home, last night.... 26klys. Seems an only a short distance, since first travelling to the outer rim. I considered, that I could keep going, to the other side of the galaxy. But realized, that with C.Q.C, Wings and ships coming out soon, I would like to be in a position to get in on some of the action. Not to mention it’s very cold, lonely and boring out here.  My hull is down to 92%, or 91% depending on who you ask James Dominguez  All other modules are about 95% and none of my AFMU have been used. So few marathon efforts and I should be back in a week or so. Then I will sit with a beer, and upload my system data.
