Made it to the 18K line! I'm parked in Eos Aowsy WK-F b53-90 for the night. Finally found a terraformable rocky world. It was orbiting a terraformable water world! Nice find for this leg of the trip!
Micheal May thanks! I can't always stay on schedule because of work, family, and unforeseen circumstances but I've tried to consistently move forward and that seems to be the key.
I'm doing about 1-2klys a night... and seem to be getting no were fast. LOL. originally, going from outer rim, to center, sounded like a good idea... - it's not
Micheal May I've been on this trip since the 12th of last month so it's certainly taking awhile to get there. It will just make it that much more satisfying when I finally make it. Then I have to make it back home with no mishaps!
Micheal May amazingly they are all 100%! I took a fair amount of damage to my modules early on but had 2 AFMUs and was able to get them back to 100%. AFMUs are literally life savers!
Good to hear... Im 98% on everything, and still haven't used my afmu, so i consider my self in good shape.
Safety tip, if you don't already know. before entering F.S.D or supercruise. Turn OFF flight assist. After coming out of F.S.D you will always come to a complete stop and won't crash in to any stars.
But yes, you then have to power up, to maneuver but, it a life saver when you jump to close to a neutron star with a really big gravity well
Fun Fact: I too parked at the 18 kly line last night. :-) As it's Thursday again I won't be having time to fly tonight, but really hope that I'll be able to get to the Great Annihilator over the weekend.
CMDR Senan Torr is still struggling to make it back to Colonia. He is just over 10K from Colonia and 31K from LTT 4961 (his ultimate destination for DW2 prep). Lots to see out there though and I've made some amazing discoveries! Even found a ringed water world and an ringed HMC that fooled me into thinking it might be an ELW. I've tagged lots and lots of WW and a good number of non-ringed ELWs. Everyday holds new discoveries!
Made it to Prieluia LH-D d12-142 today. I may try to do a little more tonight though. Saw a few nice things along the way including my 5th water world, and a gas giant with life!
Keep going !! Very impressive
