hi all, i need help. I am currently on SMOJAI JJ-G D11-2 System trying to make my way back. my ship has a jump range of 26 Ly but when trying to plot a route back to civilization, no matter how i try or what stars i select i keep getting route unavailable.

I noticed that in front of me there seems to be a region of space where the stars are spaced by 40 Ly or more.

can someone help me plot a route back?

    I'm at work at the moment but I'll see if I can work something out when I get home (around 19:30ish).

    Before then, you could try plotting a short route backwards and then trying again to plot one going forwards. You might just be in an area of space where there are no jumps of less than 26ly in a forwards direction.

    I think going back a little way sounds more likely.  Either that or closer to the centre of the galactic plane.

    The other alternative is you're out of fuel, or not enough fuel to make the next jump distance.

    thanks, i am full of fuel and my fuel scoop is working fine, i am just lost. I think heading back a bit looks like the favored solution.
