I know this is probably not the best place to ask this, but i am about to reach my wits end.

I have been trying to get on the good side of the federation for a while, my only goal is to be able to travel to earth, i want to see our home world, so I did a lot of missions that ask you to donate money, Hung around some nav points and such killing wanted criminals. Nothing works... i don't see the permission for sol.

Can someone help me with strategies to obtain the sol permission and/or a good system close to sol that has resource extraction points with lots of traffic, the places i have been are mostly ghost towns.

    I believe the best way is to do missions for Federation aligned minor factions around Sol and eventually you'll be offered a permit mission.

    Youre right though, this isn't the best place to ask (mainly because there are only about 15 members of this community). You'd get (a lot) more responses on the main E:D G+ Community (https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/115325334514949469852)

    I find shooting the feds works :S seriously, I've been shooting the feds and imps in power play for long enough now, but I'm still friendly with them :s

    Because it's the capital of the Federation and the birthplace of humanity. They can't just let any old riff-raff in.
