Just about to hit 10000ly. after  6 days.  Don't think I will have as much time to play this coming week.  Will try and do 1000ly per day if possible.

    I averaged about the same each day, but I (like the moron I am) only took an intermediate scanner with me! so I only got about 30% of the possible bodies detected on each honk!!

    Took me about 12 days on the way out - around 2000ly/day. What happened to the hull? All 3 of my big hull accidents were another player (2 me crashing into them). :-)

    Your making much better time than I did on the way there. It took me a fraction of the time back though because I did very little scanning beyond the "honk" the whole way back.

    Ian Stoffberg You will get credits for the objects collected with just the "honk", however, the payout for detailed surface scans is much better.

    Ian Stoffberg A roundtrip of 2000 ly will earn you about 1 MCr with honking alone.
